Hey I'm Chelsea and I'm 25. I was born and raised in my hometown Of Osoyoos and I am honored to announce I will be representing my community on a National stage as i was selected as a Miss Canada Petite 2017 Finalist. The pageant is a part of Miss Canada Globe Productions and will be taking place later this Summer in Toronto. I love fine arts like acting and photography. I enjoy watching movies, reading and creating videos from youtube. Within the past few years I started doing Special FX makeup and I have really enjoyed that. Especially the past two Halloweens were I find and enter as many makeup contests as possible and just challenging myself. I love to travel and meet new people, so if you're interested in me, I'm interested in you.

Blogmas Day 3 - December 3rd, 2015

I spent most of December 3rd in bed. I had been in a lot of pain that day due to my Marfan Syndrome as it had been raining all day and that impacts how much pain I have from the hyper mobility of my joints [think opposite arthritis.] 
It was also a day spent in Mourning. On May 3rd, 2014 I lost someone very dear to me unexpectedly when they died in a car crash when Alberta had a freak snowstorm. Ever since that fateful May the 3rd, it is like the third of every month is etched into my brain permanently and I associate the 3rd with my friend. 
So I wore my lovely South hill locket which I won in a contest hosted by South Hill Designs Lockets & Charms by Kelli where we designed our dream locket - which mine was inspired by my friend! 
I spent the day watching Netflix in bed, sleeping on and off and just zoning out. 
Around 11 p.m I remembered I hadn't done my calendars nor had I recorded anything for that day.

So I reluctantly got out of bed & headed upstairs to "begin" filming for the day. Lucky for me most YouTubers are a  day behind when it comes to vlogging. Since most people upload the footage from their day during the following day! 

First of all I opened Day 3 of my Gabz Collection 24 day advent calendar http://gabzcollection.com/index.php? during which I got a little gold and rhinestone patterned charm for my yet to be found charm bracelet. 
After that I opened day three of my Purdy's 24 Day Chocolate advent calendar and found myself with yet another Purdy's Caramel Chocolate. 


 I opened Day 3 of my Kinder Surprise 24 day chocolate Advent. Where I found a Schoko-Bon 
Next I opened Day on my Lindt Chocolate 24 Day Golden Bear themed calendar. I was rewarded with a Lindt Double Milk mini ball. 

Next I opened up my 32 Day Frozen Chocolate advent calendar!
I got a chocolate of the man's face. Think his name is Hans?

Next up I opened Day three of my Craft Crossing Calendar which features and highlights a collection of 12 fan favorite beers from Central City Brewing and a brand new 12 bottle collection from 49th parallel brewing. Both are BC based breweries located in Surrey and Vancouver respectively.
Since to
day was an "Odd" numbered Day we knew that it was going to feature a new bottle of brew from 49th Parallel Brewing Company. 
Today's newly introduced Beer was called Jerkface 9000. Somewhere on the labels of each new or beloved Brew is a short and usually incredibly witty description. Jerkface 9000 had the following for it's description. 
"It's beginning to look a lot like Screw this. Seriously...Reindeer? Decorations? What are you, 12? All I want for Christmas is a bottle of this hopped American wheat goin' down your fruitcake-hole. That way I don't have to hear you sing any more of those awful carols." 
Which I ironically sung in my video of me opening the calendars! 
  
Next up I opened up my Clinique: 12  Days of Clinique Beauty advent calendar and saw that the quote beside Day 3 was "The Gift with Lift" and that I got Clinique Repairwear Uplifting Firming Cream! 
Lastly I scratched my Holiday Countdown  24 Day Scratch & Win which I purchased from a ticket stand for BCLC. I got a deer with $30 marked under it. So far I don't quite know if I'm winning or not because the ticket isn't too clear. I just know I don't have one of the 3 important symbols on the back of the ticket. 
All in all another successful day of Advent Calendar opening.

Blogmas 2015 Ugly Christmas sweater hauls



The one thing I had problems trying to find was Christmas Sweaters to go along with my elaborate plan to celebrate my first Vlogmas/Blogmas during December.
I eventually found a few really cute ones at Walmart  one a red reindeer knit sweater wearing an adorable scarf and Harry Potter Like glasses. Alongside this sweet dark blue knitted sweater with a brown pug on it with a little red pom pom nose. Unfortunately when I came home I discovered the pug sweater had a totally ripped up sleeve.
Unfortunately for me I don't live near the Walmart as it is an hour away in Penticton so by the time I was able to get to the store I discovered only after officially returning the sweater they were basically all but sold out of all their Christmas Sweaters. Had I known that I would've just lived with the ripped sleeve because it was just that cute.
After searching for 20 minutes I found a basic red sweater with a Christmas tree on it and later when walking past the Dressing room I found a single blue cotton sweater that said This is my Ugly Christmas Sweater.
Which was actually a bit cheaper at $16.99 versus the $19.99 price tag of the knitted sweaters I found.
So I wound up buying this sweater to add to my grand total of Two Christmas themed Sweaters. So be prepared to see a lot of repetition in my wardrobe through out December!
Both sweaters are George Brand and both are Extra Small although both feel as if they weren't sized correctly. The blue sweater feels like it's a medium Small where as the Red knit sweater feels very Medium-Large, which is nice. Both sweaters are quite soft and comfortable and can easily adapt to the accessories I bought from Claries.

By the way one of my favorite things is that the scarf is raised up and makes a random little finger puppet/finger warmers!
